officejet v40

Hi

I'm tempted to buy the HP officejet v40 but i've heard there's issues using this printer under linux. Can anybody enlighten me?
i'm using mandrake 9.0 and soon debiam 3.0.:D :confused:

There's a previous thread in the Technical Support forum related to this printer. I initiated the post and got some responses, but have yet to get the multi function printer working with SuSe Linux 8.0. I did find a generic HP/Linux config file that was supposed to make it work, but I still had problems. Not sure they were more general printer setup problems, though, or specifically related to this printer/fax/scanner/copier.
