Click to See Complete Forum and Search --> : Wine X preinstalled on??
I've heard quite a bit about your marvelous system, and i have tried it a couple of times, with no luck, however. Now I am willing to give it another try, because I have heard that one of the Linux versions contained a preinstalled WineX.... I am either going to use that, or VMWARE, so What I would like is this: An instruction to VMWARE OR a Linux OS that has WineX preinstalled! Please help me. Thank you

Thank you I dont think any distro comes with WineX preinstalled . RH 7.3 had a version of Wine with it but WineX is another story unless im misinformed .
i think gentoo has a package for winex - which is basically the same thing as it being preconfigured.
have fun installing gentoo tho :) the whole distro is compiled from scratch when you install it (more or less).

Mandrake used to have a Gamer's Edition, but I don't know if it was a Gamer's Edition because it had WineX, or because it just had The Sims on the CDs.
So... yeah. Maybe look into it? It did cost money though, if that's a big deal for you.
