Windows off screen

On this laptop im playing with, im running OpenLinux. At first, after the install, I could move the screen down to see all of the window, but after a kernel compile i cant see the bottoms of the windows in X. I've tried all the possible configurations in XF86Setup. This is really getting on my nerves. :confused:

Finnally i have found someone with the same display problems i have, i thought i was the only person in the world with such a problem, as for getting a solution to this problem, i doubt anyone will really help us as it has been nearly 12 hours since i posted my problem and nobody has even bothered replying...

This is usually something you'd fix with your monitor controls.

Or try changing your resolution.

Or modify the HorizSync and VertRefresh settings so you'll use a different refresh rate, which generally does something to the screen position also.
