Is there any way that I can get an upgrade for 4.75 that is stable? I've tried N6 on my PIII, and it stalls alot.

You could try mozilla 0.7. It's a little more stable than netscape. Also, wednesday or thursday, mozilla 0.8 is out. I'd wait for that, as the recent nightly builds have been a lot faster, and much less buggy. (The one I'm using right now is build 2001020809, and I haven't had one problem yet, plus it starts in 30 seconds on my slow 233 box, compared to almost 2 minutes for netscape 6.)

That's strange, must be the linux version of NS6, I'm using it in *shudder* windoze and I'm experiencing no problems with it. Mostly use it to search Pricewatch for a second hd to install Linux on. :D

you could try Opera...It works pretty good.
Im lucky,I've done something to my Slack install and Netscape6.0 or 6.1 (whatever) segfaults on the install.I probably could fix it but I dont give a rat's a$$. :)

I've had not a problem with the NS 4.7? that comes in Slack 7.1

As for NS6 havign more features? Since when did removing LDAP support from your mail client count as a "feature"?

Hello, well if you are a KDE person, you should give Konqueror on the new KDE 2.0.1. It works marvelous! I have yet not had a problem with it, and its quick. It has done everything mozilla has so far, and can work with netscape plugins like Flash. And yes, the recent builds of Mozilla have been excellent also! I've not had to open Netscape up in a while now, I think I'll uninstall it :D
