Hey all, I hope someone can help.
I am trying to start a remote xterminal session on my RH 6.2 boxI can see the box with Telnet just fine but when I try to startx I get
Authentication failed - cannot start X server.
Perhaps you do not have console ownership?
If I su and supply roots password It looks like it starts the terminal but not graphicly I get the code and it changes the view on my monitor that is directly connected to the linux box. I hope soeone has done this themselves and has some advise?
