I just recently installed Linux Redhat and am running GNOME. My 3D card picked up right away, but my soundcard isn't working still, blaah blaah blaah.

I know how to get everything else going, but what really baffles me is how the !@#$ I can get my LAN card working! I have an HP-EN 10/100 fast PCI card. A Hewlett Packard special I think...

It is also compatible with the RealTek RTL8129(A)-based PCI Fast Ethernet Adapter.

I have a HP Pavilion 9694c running on Redhat 7.1.

Can anybody help me?

I see you've also posted this question in Hardware.

Please just post ONCE in whatever forum suits your particular question.

Thank-you and have a nice day.

I posted it here once, saw it was the wrong section, and posted it in the correct section.

I'll just find another message board.
