4megs of ram

i want to install linux on a laptop with 4 megs of ram, anyone know what distribution might work?

here it is 486sx33 CPU, just under 4mb of ram, 300mb drive (http://www.linuxnewbie.org/cgi-bin/ubbcgi/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=12&t=000420)

I used smalllinux and Slackware 7.1 - you may prefer Debian or even Redhat (6.x),

I doubt that the latest RedHat or any of the distributions that put the GUI as the main focus will run on less than 4MB of RAM. If anything, you're going to need either a mini-linux distribution, Slack or Debian, or a really old version of RedHat.
