What does RedHat mean when they say Redhat 7 server is 2.4 ready? Does it ship with the kernel?

Not to my knowledge. Its my understanding (based on a conversation I had with David Cantrell of Slackware at Linux World Expo) that certain apps must be re-compiled to support the features in the 2.4 kernel. Saying its 2.4 ready just means that all of the apps support these new features.

How's that for name-dropping?!?
