winex problem

After finally getting winex installed from CVS and a having a few permission problems during the install now I have another problem.

I can't seem to run anything. Whenever I try to run a windoze prog from my windoze drive it says file not found. Wineconf seems to look ok and shows all my windoze drives.

Any suggestions welcome.

Sounds familular....post the errors, I think I had this problem over the weekend also.

My fix was to install the program to the winex 'c' directory. It didn't want to run any programs outside of it's own environment (oddly enough). I was trying to run a standalone program (no regestry) and it gave errors like this, but once I moved it to my home directory in the "c" it worked fine...

Probally need to change something in your .conf file, but I can't think of it ;)

And what do you mean "install the program to the winex 'c' directory"? If you mean install the game to that directory in my /home directory then no I can't. Not enough room.

Also wouldn't this defeat the purpose of running it from the windoze partition?
