Hi everyone,
I'm trying to get to a point where I can perform every day NT/Novell administration functions from a linux workstation and would love to start a discussion on what can be done. I'll just throw some issues out along with the solutions that I'm aware of (or leave it blank if I'm looking for feedback)...

NT fileservers - smbclient

Novell fileservers - limited support? I know IPX can be installed but I don't think I'd be able to connect to any Netware server that's greater than 4.x.

NDS - I think only Caldera's distro offers support...... anyone?

NDPS Printing - ?

NT remote service management - only thing I can think to do here is to install a telnet server on an NT box that's got the resource kit loaded on it. From there, I'd be able to telnet to the machine and use netsvc

SQL Server Administration - Perhaps there's a solution out there that can connect via ODBC?

I'm forgetting a ton of stuff (very tired) but I'm sure you get the idea of where I'm going with this thread. I'm very anxious to hear the responses....

Best,
