!!!Warning: Total Linux Newbie Alert!!!
I've got 2 video cards in my PC, a GeForce 4 Ti4400 AGP and 3Dfx Voodoo 4 4500 PCI. I've installed Mandrake 9.0 and it appears to see both cards, but I'm only getting video on the 3Dfx card and nothing on the GeForce 4 card.
The GeForce 4 card is the primary in the system, and Lilo comes up on this card as does the Linux boot screen, but as soon as KDE is loaded, the display switches to the 3Dfx card. Can anyone tell me if Linux supports multiple monitor setups and if so, how do I get the AGP card to display video?
I've tried downloading the latest driver from nVidia and as near as I can tell, it installed ok, but when I go into the hardware configuration it just shows the generic drivers. I'd be happy if I could get the GeForce 4 card working and the 3Dfx card didn't initialize if that's an option.
Any help or links to a tutorial would be very much appreciated. I've spent most of the day trying to figure this out and I've gotten nowhere.
