I am a brand new Linux user and don't know how to get my computer onto the internet. Where do you go to enter the DNS numbers or do you even have too? Long time Windows user and trying to get away from it.

You can manually add them to /etc/resolv.conf

domain isp_domain
nameserver xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx # dns #1
nameserver xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx # dns #2
