home URL in Konqueror

Maybe its because I just woke up, but I can not find anything in the settings to allow me to set my home page in konqueror.. Could someone quickly tell me how its done? (somehow, the big brother 2 homepage got stuck as my default..uGh)

In konq 2.1 at least go Setting -> Configure konqueror. From there File manager and tab Behavior, there is url place for home page.

okay.. I was thinking that maybe had something to do with it, but mine is set to "~".. That's why I didn't touch it, because I figured it was for the FILE MANAGER url. I want to configure it so it doens't show the big brother homepage when I start konqueror web browser.

Where yours says "~" *is* what you're supposed to change, just make sure you hit apply. The home button goes to the same place in both web browsing and file browsing.

Check out the following file:
file:/usr/share/apps/konqueror/profiles/webbrowsing

There is row with "View0_URL=", check what reads here. I think is should be "about:konqueror".

There was actually few lines there, so i'll post all the lines just in case.

Hey thanks.. That got it back to normal.. I actually had to use the file ~/.kde/share/apps/konqueror/profiles/webbrowsing
to get it working, but your advice helped me find it!!

Ya think there'd be an option in there for that page.....
