I know that Netzero had said they were going to support linux well that has not happened yet. Is there any other free ISP's that do support linux???

You might want to do a forum search, it seems I recall this topic being discussed a few times, but I don't remeber by whom or the answer(s).

Netzero will work with linux. You just need to follow the directions on Mountain Mans web site. Do a search here for any posts by MountainMan. He has a link to a program called Rasspy that will sniff the encrypted password and user name that netzero sends to their servers from your computer.
I have been using netzero and bluelight from linux for a month now.
Good luck
