Mandrake 7.2 / KDE / Klyx problem

Hi...

Just wondering what the problem is with the defaults for Klyx in Mandrake 7.2.

When I launch the application, then click on Introduction under the Help menu, there's a message saying "Loading X font" (this takes a little while), then the document displays in something like a 256pt typface (i.e., one character fills the screen).

Any suggestions?

I know you posted a long time ago and you may well have solved your problem long ago. Klyx seems very buggy but if your distro of MDK 7.2 is the same as mine you should also have lyx (no mention of it in the menus etc but it IS there). You will find it a lot better than klyx and it is complete with examples, tutorial etc.

Thank you very much for replying. Yes, I did realize fairly quickly that lyx was preferable to klyx. Unfortunate that klyx isn't better supported...
