MDK 7.2 Soundblaster 16 bit & 2x MKE CDROM drive problems

I installed Mandrake 7.2 to try it out, and it detected my CDROM drive (which is connected through my soundcard) fine.
When I'm logged in, it doesn't show any soundcard or cdrom detected in the HardDrake program.
How do I add it to my system?
It's an old cdrom & soundcard, which doesn't use an IDE port.

You might need to use the ispnp tools. I know the cdrom drive should be: /dev/hde
Those old Sound cards had effectively an additional IDE port. I think there is a how to on the subject at www.linuxdocs.org (http://www.linuxdocs.org)
