Yes....Another kernel question from me. I got the kernel compiled and it works fine but when i boot up it cant mount my windows drives. its gives me this FS type DEVPTS not supported by kernel I got this last time i compiled it and looked at all the options but didnt see any reference to this. Did I just overlook something or what?

EMU10K1 sound module fails to load b/c I compiled it into the kernel and not as a module. Would it be better to have compiled it as a module and not right into the kernel? Also, I have onboard audio and I installed that driver as well....would this pose any problems or would this be safe to do? I dont use it right now but you never know.

Thanx,

Zach

There is an option in the kernel under file Systems:

Put a Y buy the following options:
DOS fat fs support
MSDOS fs support
VFat fs support

On your sound, you want to compile it as a module and not directly into the kernel.

I do not know about the onboard audio driver question.
