I have never used Linux before, and I have a couple questions about working in KDE.
I cannot figure out how to adjust the volume control in KDE. Is this possible? Also, how do I adjust the color depth and resolution?
I have looked everywhere for the answer but cannot find it. I did check the help files. Thanks.

you need to install a mixer program to change the volume (no idea what distro you have so I can't help you)

As for color depth and resolution, you need to edit the XF86Config file (again, can't really help you out because I have no idea what distro you have)

Use KMix. It's in the Multimedia menu.
