Slack 8.1 cd boot?

has anyone managed to get slack 8.1's install to boot off a cd? i cant, although other distros and other cd's work fine. i know i can use the boot/root disks, but 6 floppy disks take so long to make...

All the Linux distro installation cd's are bootable as long as you created them correctly.

Do you see a actual filesystem (files and directories) on the cd?

i got slack 8.1 to boot from cd bu tnow i have to take out red hat 6.0 cause i dont know how to get rid of it and it wont worte over it... i wna tot try to add a few distributions onto there including mandrake red hat 7.3 slack 8.1 and maby crux...whichever version is newest because they seem to be the most popular
