fluxbox killed xmms?

ok I just installed fluxbox and started artsd then opened xmms and everything worked fine. then I started gkrellm with a xmms plugin on it and it crashed xmms and now xmms wont open no matter how i try to do it or even if i go back to kde any idea how to fix this or where I would be able to find a log of the errors why it wont open?

i would try deleting the .xmms in your home directory
and try opening it again for starters
