I have a VIA AC97 sound card and a MS Sidewinder (the mic and headphones thing for Counter-Strike voice com among other things) and I seem to be having a couple problems.One is that while mp3 audio plays fine, my CD audio only plays in mono. It works in windows fine so I dont think its a hardware issue but Im not really sure what to make of it. The other is the Sidewinder audio is REALLY quiet and I cant seem to figure out why. It basically just plugs into the headphone/speaker jack and the mic jack and it also has a USB connection on it. Has anyone had a simmilar problem or can someone point me to a URL with a possible solution. Couldnt really find anything on Google and im not really sure what to try next.....:( :confused:
