Hey everyone. I have a quick question. I got samba running fairly well. To mount the share in Suse 8.0, I open up the shell, and type in:
smbmount //BasementComp/C /mnt/BasementComp
Thats all easy and crap. I want it more simple.
Since I have dual booting on this computer, I found how to make it so that I can access my FAT32 XP partition in linux. Is there a similar way I could get this to work, for me to access that windows share from the desktop in a similar mannor?
I don't need it to mount on the bootup, just when I click on it, it should be mounted. Whatever is easiest. Typing that command in is becoming a pain, and I still don't have a shortcut on my desktop! Can somone point me in the right direction? Thanks a lot everyone!
