Hi all,

I just purchased an AMD Duran 800 and an ABIT TK7 motherboard (the AMD site recommended this board for the Duran). With this particular board, you configure the processor in the BIOS (jumperless). The Duran CPU came with a manual but it doesn't give the specs of the chip. You are able to simply input the CPU operating speed which is 800. Following are the rest of the settings (I checked the AMD site for the specs but couldn't find them.

Multiplier factor: 8X
CPU FSB/PCI clock: 100/33MHz
CPU FSB Plus: 0

What confuses me is that the CPU uses a FSB of 200 but the motherboard sets it at 100 (or am I just reading the settings wrong?). The board that I have supports 200 MHz FSB. You are also able to input the settings manually but I'm not sure what they are to even enter them.

Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!
