I got my moem to dial my ISP and connected fine. When I start Netscape it says it can't find the website. When I try other sites it can't find them either. These are all common sites, including Yahoo, etc.
Yet my modem is connected. It seems there is no link to Netscape. This happens samy whether I connect with Gnome ppp or Kde Kppp.
thanks for the help.

try those, if those work then it's simply a DNS problem. So if that's what is wrong, find out the DNS of your isp, put them into your /etc/resolv.conf

eg.

domain isp.net
nameserver ip.ip.ip.ip
search isp.net

Note: the two urls I've posted above are ips that I got from a nslookup on yahoo.com
