Resource meters?

Can someone enlighten me as to what exactly the meter on the right of this jpeg is called (or suitable alternative)

I keep seeing them used in fluxbox etc but rarely in kde. I'm happy enough with kde so would need something that can run in that enviroment and give the same access to info that app does, i:e ppp0 & cpu, not to bothered about drive use but ram would be handy .... I just miss having my old motherboard monitor 5 etc :(
