Click to See Complete Forum and Search --> : mandrake 7.2 installation problem anabolic 07-17-2001, 03:24 PM when i go to install mandrake on my system, it says, error mounting cdrom drive. attempting to reboot system. this happens right at the very beginning of the installation. i have tried this on a partitioned hard drive and on a clean hard drive. any ideas on what is wrong or what i can do to fix it? thanx anabolic bdg1983 07-17-2001, 04:24 PM I've read in other posts that some distro installs will not work if the cdrom is not setup as secondary/master or secondary/slave. I'm not really sure which or even if it's really the problem.
