I am a newbie when it comes to Linux, as a matter of fact this is my first try at it.

I have read that Linux 6.2 is compatible with Micro-Solutions external cd-roms, however I can't get it to recognize it during install.

Any help would be appreciated!

Wassup_b, I feel your pain. I am going through the same thing. My only hope is that it will all be worth it in the end. I have done a little research on this and I think that you might be running into the problems because you are running an odd CD-ROM. I am not familiar with it. You say that you have version 6.2, 6.2 of what? Who packaged the software? If you go to their site, you might be able to find your solution. Chances are that they will have the modules or whatever you are looking for on an FTP site. Also, if you have a purchased version, they usually have a 30,60 or 90 day technical service as part of the purchase of the software - you might look into that one.
