Ok maybe its me. I'm trying to install a bunch of programs via RPMs. I can't...., you guessed it, dependency issues. I'm using RH 7.1 and i just can't seem to find the dependencies they (Gaim, Enlightenment) are looking for. I can't grab a rh 7.3 CD and do it that way.. soooooo... Two quick questions...

#1 Where can i find those (on the web i mean), is there as site that can tell me the program and or the dependencies and where to find them (i know i'm asking alot)?

and #2 does one dependency lead to another.. ie if i wanna install Enlightenment and say enlightenment need Glib(argument purposes), will Glib have a dependency?

Thanx alot guyz.. this place rules.

Redcarpet may be the program you are looking for. It finds and downloads the dependencies required.

The answer to question 2 is yes it can. That said, Redcarpet should make this painless.

Do a search for it and read the docs. It seems to work pretty good.
