alter lilo appearance

im running RH 7.2 and using lilo as my boot loader. theres no problem running either of these two things, but i was wondering if it was possible to change the way lilo looks. if anyone has Rh 7.2 you know its a full screen menu with a RH graphic. i like the version of lilo that comes with slack( slack 8 anyways). i just find this piticular lilo unattractive. any ideas?

the lilo image is in:
/boot/message
open message in gimp and have fun
or alter the message directive in /etc/lilo.conf

I was partial to the old command line lilo. but hey, I like confusing :)
