Linux Driver for HSP56 MicroModem + Sis 900 base Network Adopter

I want to install Mandrake 8.2 ..searching for drivers for my WinModem (PcTel : HSP56 Micromodem) i know there most be a driver for this most popular winmodem that would work under linux mandrake 8.2. Please help me find one and for my network adopter : SIS 900 Base Fast Ehernet Adopter.

Your distro should already have the sis900 module.

If you are having problems with loading the module, try some of the suggestions in the many other threads on ethernet cards. Disable PnP OS in the bios first.

Have you tried www.linmodems.org to see if there are any drivers for the PcTel : HSP56 Micromodem? That would be the best place to check.

There's a link on the linmodems home page to "Jan Stifflers(?)" site, where you can DL drivers for HSP 56 modem, they worked for me!
The latest driver 0.9.4 didn't work for me under mdk 8.2, but the older 0.8.6 does work for me under mdk 8.1 & 8.2
