Microsoft Cordless Wheel Mouse not working in linux??

Hey... I just dual booted Win XP and Linux (redhat 7.2)... But my Microsoft Cordless Wheel Mouse will not work.... I really don't want to go buy another mouse. Is there any drivers or anything I can use to get this to work??

Now my buddy is using the same mouse.. but his isnt cordless.. he has a cord... his works

FINALLY got it working. I used my other mosue to login and get all of that done... then mouseconfig and tried almost everything there until i got one that worked

actually it doesnt work...

I login with the old mouse... then set the terminal... type mouseconfig and select my mouse..... plug in the new one.... log out with restore session clicked... then i log in and it works.... but if i reboot the PC, then i need to do the whole process over.... any ideas???
