Hi.
I am using Debian 2.2 Potato with X. I don't mind GNOME, but would really like to get KDE2 for Debian. However, I am only on a 56K Modem connection so I don't want to spend time downloading it. Is there anything available on CD that I could purchace to get KDE2? I have a set of Mandrake 7.2 CDs, however I don't think they would be of any help since they are RPM. However, any suggestions would be appreciated!

Thanks.

You could use alien to debianize all those rpms, even if it's not the best solution. I'm not really sure where you could buy a CD with KDE on it.

Too much Sun can give you cancer. Windows break too easily.
Apples/Macintoshes can rot. BSD... sounds too much like LSD.

Linux, the only one with the Penguin.

Nope, I don't think it's available on a CD anywhere. However, why not just download while you sleep? You could probably get it all in one night, maybe two.

Thanks for the idea Craig, however we are on an internet plan that has a limited number of hours. We have been going over a lot lately and my parents freek about it so that is not an option. I would do that if I could though.

Thanks again.
