ldconfig prublems

Since i tried to install oss in slack i get this on every boot:
ldconfig: warning: can't open /usr/lib/libOSSlib.so (No such file or directory), skipping

Edit the ldconfig config file, a

man ldconfig

will tell you the name of the config file.
Remove the line with that directory or file if it dosent exist.

Actually all the paths in /etc/ld.so.conf exists.

So /usr/lib/libOSSlib.so exists?

is /usr a different partition? Has it been mounted by the time ldconfig is ran?

No its on the same partition and the damn file is there, it does exist. Actually i have gotten me another error now, the same error but with lirc.so.o
damn it.
