It's free, works well, and (as opposed to all other ports of GCC out there, IMHO anyway), it is EASY to install! ;) RonaldRaygun 09-14-2002, 07:21 PM yes i have. It works really good. I also use the linux version that came with Kdevelop. dogn00dles 09-15-2002, 07:39 PM That's what I first used for Windows in C++...it is a great compiler, better than that VC++ crap that costs 100's of dollars...the only problem is OpenGL integration, either it just doesn't work or I'm just stupid, lol. JKlebs9225 09-16-2002, 07:21 PM I have used the bloodshed compiler, and it works great. You can make many types of projects with it. I had also heard about a version for linux, but I couldn't find it, so I eMailed the webmaster at bloodshed's website, and he replied that they are no longer working on the software for linux because there are so many great free C++ compilers for linux already. justlinux.com
