1024 cylinder and lba32???

after install I get the infamous 1024...now I am aware of just dling the newer version of LILO, but as I saw that error it also said, "Try using lba32"....what and where is that located?? :confused:

check your /etc/lilo.conf file. it should have something like this in it (this if from mine):

lba32
boot = /dev/hdc
compact
prompt

Make sure lba32 is in there
