webcam brands

Hi, I've read the NHF on webcam and it sounds easy enough. I need to determine exactly what camera to buy.

From the NHF it seems that the going with USB is the proper way. The IBM camera that is linked to from the NHF isn't available. In addition I'd kind of like to pick up the camera from a store (so I don't have to wait for delivery).

I'd like to get the opinion of the group here about the brands. What brand of USB webcam are you using? Does it work well with the XAWTV software? How about for streaming video?

The brands at the local compusa are:

Creative Labs -- WebCam Digital Video Camera and WebCam Pro

Intel -- Easy PC Camera (v4)

Labtec -- Webcam PC Internet Video Camera

There are others, but they are outside of the price range I'm presently considering.

Does anyone have experience with these brands and or cameras?
