I am looking for a good 3d modeling and animation program that is open source. Blender and AC3D aren't open source. Are there any good open source ones?
THANK YOU

THANK YOU Malakin 08-06-2001, 11:13 PM I don't know if it's good but a search on freshmeat and sourceforge came up with this one: http://sourceforge.net/projects/mindseye/ MaxWave 08-07-2001, 12:40 AM http://www.blender.nl/ I was in the bookstore the other day when I saw this in the Linux section. All I could say was "Ohhh my Gawd!" Very impresive. I have used 3DStudio Max in the past and must say they are definitely on their way. I haven't played with this app yet because I left the animation world and do not feel like investing on a real video card. If you try it and like it, let me know. evulish 08-07-2001, 01:02 AM I have a feeling that open source 3d programs are kinda hard to find. I know I haven't found any nice ones. (Blender would be nice for open source) justlinux.com
