Hi,
I have win 2k on my box.Today, I have installed RHL 7.1 on my comp.Now, I can't boot into windows as there is no option for selecting dos partition.How can I get the system to boot into dos.

I know this question could be repitive.I would be happy even if I get url for this question

I dont know what redhat uses but if u're using lilo

get on ROOT account
edit your: /etc/lilo.conf file
then add this:


other = /dev/hda1
label = dos
table = /dev/hda

this is assuming that /dev/hda1 is your win2k drive on hard disk: /dev/hda

if not... get that win2k boot disk... careful on rewriting the mbr!

After you do what digitalzero says, then as root run the command /sbin/lilo .
