Recovering LILO

Recently I switched over to a Promise Ulta66 controller. This was not a problem for the new install of Mandrake 7.2 but I am having a problem getting my old heavily modified version of 7.0 up and running. Before the aforementioned switch, the root directory of the 7.0 was on hdb1 but now it is on hdg1. How can I run lilo from my new 7.2 install so that it reads the config file of 7.0 and make it visible to boot magic so I can pick either 7.0 or 7.2.
