This is weird because before I was able to scroll though web site etc.. What do you think the prob is. I did a fresh intall of Suse 8.0 and did the same mouse selection as I did before. Is there some option I missed to enable that feature??

What mouse did you select? I cant get my MS Wireless optical Intellimouse(USB) to work at all under linux(Suse/mandrake/redhat), so im quite interested in your settings.

Could you perhaps post your XF86Config-4 contents for the mouse entry?

For the mouse I choose Intelli/wheel Mouse (USB). I thing I did was that I messed with all of my settings in the control center. One of those settings prevented my from scrolling. So what I did was turn everything to defaults and did a restart and now it works. btw did you press the button on the bottom of the mouse so the base and the mouse could work togather?
