Linux Expert,:p
I have a problem running a graphic linux. I just install the redhat linux 7.2 and it went into the text input login instead of graphic login. So I tried to use startx and Clt+Alt+F1, and botth didn't work. So I thought it is becoz the video card is not correct, then i used Xconfigurator and tried to find my video card , which is leadtek WinFast A170 Series , but i can't my card in the list..so is it means redhat doesn't support my video card?

Aslo i wanta attach the .0.log file that startx give, but i don't know how to use the "floppy drive" ... and also cdrom and cdRrom.
Can anyone show me how to use those drive?
Thanks

i believe you will get more help if you edit your subject line to include Leadtech/NVIDIA GeForce4 MX440. that's the chipset you are using.

as to the floppy issue, as root

mount /floppy (short version usually works depending upon your /etc/fstab)
or
mount -t ext2 /dev/fd0 /mnt/floppy (long version should always work)

Thanks for your reply!

But still...how to config my video card setting ( Xconfigurator) since my card is not on the list.
So is it becoz of my video card effect the GUI thing?

Aslo I post my startx log file, see if it can help

For the floppy device, is it means i have to mount the /floppy and umount it everytime i reboot the system and read another floppy disk??

Thanks!
