I downloaded the webfonts for netscape, when i tried to install them rpmdrake told me that it didnt appear to be a rpm file. I am using Mandrake 7.2.

Is their any other web fonts package i could get? I used the tip the Font HOWTO gave me on getting the fonts bigger for netscape but they look ugly.

Ill be greatfull to all of those who could help me.

Here is another way plus you get many more fonts.

if you have a windows drive or partition, then grab all the fonts from it.

here is how:

goto drakconf
then goto drakfont and importem.

This is one way to get the fonts plus have alot more to use when writing.

Also try another packager like Kpackage or Gnorpm. I find they are more friendly than rpmdrake.

Remember to install them you must have root privelages.

I usually get the freefont and sharefont packages from www.gimp.net (http://www.gimp.net) in the resources section.. http://www.linuxnewbie.org/ubb/smile.gif
