Another WINE problem

Okay, I downloaded the unstripped WINE rpm, and I used the GUI Package manager to install it. I've played around a bit with my config file (i always thought it was wine.conf, but it said i needed config) and it keeps giving me an error saying "config not in registry" or something like that. then it pops up with a couple more lines of stuff and quits. i'd copy and paste it directly but I cannot access the internet through linux (a completely unrelated problem)

Argh why is it that I always come up with the problems that nobody can fix?

I like the liquid version, but know little about the other.

All I can suggest is you recheck the included documentation. I would imagine Wine would be well documented and should tell you what is necessary to get up and running.
