If the proper drivers were installed, would it ever be possible to install OS X on an Intel machine? I know Apple has it's open source project, but what are the possibilities of both that and the Aqua interface being installed on something other than a Mac at some point?
Just curious...

Probably slim. The only part of the MacOS that's Open Source is Darwin, the BSD kernel of the MacOS. Other than that, Apple keeps the GUI and other UI parts under wraps...
If you're interested in checking out Darwin, BSD Central (http://www.bsdcentral.com) has a package that includes the Darwin kernel, and a bunch of ported software for Darwin that came from FreeBSD. It's not the MacOS, but it is the core of the MacOS you'd be running with...

That's kind of what I thought... It's that Aqua interface that I really want... without the price of a new Mac. :) Personally, I think if Apple sold OS X for PC's, they'd give M$ a run for their money... they'd probably sell less Macs, but they might make some $$ on the OS.
