I'm a recent convert to Linux after years of Win XX (ab)use.
Almost everything is just fine and the PC is working well apart from some strange messages that appear in a little xconsole window at the bottom of my screen.
It always says;
linux insmod: insmod a module named snd-mixer-oss already exists
Then;
insmod sound-service-0-0 failed
And;
The same message as the first one..
Then;
insmod sound-service-0-3 failed.
I use SuSE 7.2 and can get both system sound and CD sound fine.
Are these messages important? What should I do about them?
I would be grateful of any assistance at all! :confused:
