ok.... I've been dicking with getting a program to work all morning. I've been running Mandrake8 for about 2 months now and everything's been going fine. But this is my first attempt at a tarball. Boy it's exciting. :) (please note sarcasm)
I've been searching the forums past posts all morning and I've made quite a bit of progress.... got make installed... got gcc installed.... but now when I run ./configure it can't find gtk-config. I tried running finds for this file but was unable to find this file on my machine. Perhaps I'm looking in the wrong spot. Where should it be? And how should I get it there and pathed correctly if it's not? Would appreciate any assistance.
