Progeny not reading mbr?

Did anyone ever find out why Progeny doesn't seem to recognize the MBR sometimes? It never happened to me before, but I'm trying install it (on a machine that already has had it before) and it wants me to create a new one

Whats the cause and solution to this? I'm trying to avoid having to reinstall windows all over again (this is gonna be a dual booter)
