I have a Lexmark model Jetprinter 5770.
I can't seem to get it to work in Debian.
Any ideas? I used printtool but it's not listed there. There are a few Lexmarks but not my model.
Any help is appreciated as always.

It is my understanding that must Lexmark printers will not work with Linux as they are software based printers as in WINDOMEMS. http://www.linuxnewbie.org/ubb/eek.gif

I've also read recently that Lexmark has decided to release Linux drivers for some printer models, so you may want and point your browser to the Lexmark website and do a search there for drivers or info regarding Linux.

Good luck.

Robert.
