i had to move out to Reno NV and there is no real problem with that.....well one

(diamond supra max 56k pci)
under win2k its on com3

thats what i set it to in slackware
i belive it was listed as /dev/ttsy3

BUT! when i go into kppp and do a modem query it says my modems busy

i am reading the ppp howto right now but i thought id post the question here in advance if it doesnt help http://www.linuxnewbie.org/ubb/smile.gif

I remember that I didn't like kppp very much. I used wvdial when I had ppp (but now I go to college and... well I'm sure you know).
