I am worried... Oggasm takes like forever to convert an mp3 to an ogg (I know, that's normal), and 'sometimes' on the very end of the song, it prints out the message
Found old ID3 Header

It doesn't sounds like something to be worried about.. if it weren't because the ogg file came with a totally different track lenght than the original mp3! For example, track 1.mp3 was 4:57 in lenght, and then that track 1.ogg turned out as 2:28 in lenght... for better or worse, the whole song was there, except that it was playing at 'hyper speed'. Anyone has any idea of what I should do to fix this?

ID3 headers store information about the song, like artist, title, album, etc. I'm not familiar with oggasm, but from what the website says I guess that's normal. The tag is simply converted to the ogginfo format.

Is it perhaps a setting in your ogg player or maybe some setting in oggasm itself that causes it to encode at double speed?

Strange... the ID3 tag... Hmm... I wonder what should I do. Xmms reads the file's length alright, and oggasm doesn't... it reads the 'old id3' tag? This probably has to do with those files that had two types of tags (the first ide3 tag and the extended tag). I'll go see.. heck, oggasm is so new it doesn't has 'oggasm -help' nor a man page! Hmm... I'll just go and do this to long way.. I'll go seek an mp3->wav converter now...
